Cyber Patriots have really helped me to keep my computer secure. I started off doing Cyber Patriots because I am really into cybersecurity and programming. In Cyber Patriot you try to prevent computers from getting viruses. We also learn networking, networking is all about routers and switches to work to receive or send a packet. In Cyber Patriots we have competitions and in this competition, you try to find vulnerabilities to protect the computer.

 

I competed in 8th grade, 9th grade, 10th grade, 11th grade, and 12th grade. For all four years, our team made it into the semifinals and have always been first in the state. We were the top 2% in the nation. The top 12 go to nationals and we were very close to going there. If we work a little bit harder I think we will go to nationals by the time I graduate.
