8th-Grade Projects
This year I have grown in many things like using reading skills to get better at grammar and punctuation, I have grown in using the elimination method and I have grown in running better. The thing that I have grown in the most after combining these three classes is inquiry. When I first came to this school everything was very easy for me, so I got all A's and didn't ask any teacher. When I was in 8th grade I realized I must ask questions to understand the material because it got harder for me. I grew in inquiry from reading skills because I didn't understand how to put my thoughts onto paper, so she told me how to. I grew in elimination method by inquiry because I tried to do it 3 times and I still didn't get it, so I asked my teacher and she told me how to do it. I grew in inquiry from the mile run by telling my teacher if i could take the mile run another time so i can get a better score. A club that I grew in inquiry is cyber patriots because I didn't understand it for a while then I asked my coach and he taught me how coding works.
We did a lot of things in Language Arts, but one thing I liked was Independent Reading Project. I grew in reading skills while doing the Independent Reading Project.
