STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. STEM is a project-based learning school and we use various kinds of learning techniques like the 5 qualities. This school provides education to 32+ districts in the Dayton area. Our education is different from most other schools because we have easier ways to work together, talking to people, asking questions, never giving up, and getting innovative ideas. We have project-based learning which means that we do a project and learn at the same time, this makes it easier because the content is fresh in our mind as we do the project. This school is also safer because we have cubbies. The 5 qualities that I will be talking about are called communication, inquiry, persistence, collaboration, and creativity. These qualities are important than grades and tests because in the future you will need them a lot, in fact, you will need them right now because you will not succeed without these qualities. Communication helps me talk to other people fluently. Inquiry helps me ask questions, if I need help I clarify with the teacher or my parents. Persistence helps me get my work done and not give up. Collaboration helps me work in groups and getting to know them. Creativity helps me get fresh ideas and usage of my imagination.
