Martial Arts

Martial Arts is my way to keep calm and to relax.  The martial arts I went to was called Meng's Martial Arts, we learn every kind of self-defense like wrestling and taekwondo. In our martial arts, we have ten belts. The belt system is white, yellow/white, yellow, green/white, green, blue/white, blue, red/white, red, and black. These belts are for the youth and there are also belts that adults wear. I wear a black belt (The highest level in my martial arts).

 

It takes a lot of time to get to the black belt because you must take a three-day test, consisting of physical, mental, and different kicks and punches. In our martial arts, we wear uniforms and also have a book where we mark how many classes we have been to. This book also has information about each belt and you need to memorize this info to move onto the next belt. I do not do martial arts anymore but I still practice at home.
